A note about how I think about fear and wonder.
2022-09-12
I find that a lot of times I show up at work as a "scared kid". I'm afraid of what will go wrong. What I won't like. What people may think of me. Afraid of what I'll lose. Afraid of what I'll have to take on.
So often, it's showing up with fear.
I don't want to show up with fear, I want to show up with wonder.
I want to have wonder for the infinite possibilities. I want to show up with wonder of an unexplored terrain. I want the challenge of something new that changes the way the world works. Something that changes the way I see the world. The way I see myself. The way I invite others into wonder.
I want to experience wonder.

In it, I explore the intersection of curiosity and craft: the people who make stuff, what they make and the way they pursue the craft of making.
