# If Only I Could Code

> Debunking myths about needing to code to build digital products

"If I only knew how to code..."

I can't tell you how many times I've heard that over the past 15 years from so many people.

People have ideas. People say they _want_ something to exist. People can see what's missing for people like them...but they don't know where to start with **turning that idea into an actual, digital product**.

People often think that they have to learn how the _entire process_ for building software for others to start using the thing they've come up with.

The two biggest lies that people believe about turning their idea into a digital product are:
- I know the idea will "make millions" if it only existed
- The only thing keeping it from existing is that I can't write code

This is immediately evident when you ask anyone who knows how to write code if they know someone who has said, "hey, I have an idea about something, would you build it for me?"

Here's what you need to know about building digital products:
- You can validate your idea without ever writing a line of code
- Once you've validated your idea, the path to turning it into a real digital product isn't nearly as involved as "learn to build software".

If you are the kind of person who thinks "I have ideas for a digital product" but you don't know where to start, I can help you.
